September 16^th is our monthly meeting held at 311 Morgan Street at 6:30 pm.

There is much work to do concerning our candidates for election in November. We are hard at work with State House candidates Sam Alexander in the 18^th and Mike Dockery in the 17^th, State Senate candidate Randy Walker in the 7^th, and of course Mike McWherter, our Democratic candidate for Governor! Please feel free to give us a call or come by HQ if you would like to volunteer with a campaign or work in the office.

Join us in celebrating Labor Day with the Teamsters and other Union folks who have helped to bring us better wages, benefits, safe working conditions, and a reasonable work week! Come and mingle with our candidates as well as they will all be in attendance at this event on World’s Fair Park from 12-4 on September 6^th. There will be food, music and other family entertainment!

There is a Committee Meeting of the Chair and Vice Chairs on Friday the 10^th at 6:30 at HQ to discuss a single issue involving the bylaws. This meeting is open to Executive Committee members to observe.
